Women’s IRM Brunch
For over 20 years, Volunteers of America Massachusetts has hosted the “I Remember Mama” Brunch for women throughout Boston. What began as an annual Mother’s Day brunch has evolved into an event held to honor all women in the greater Boston area, regardless of their past struggles. The Women’s IRM Brunch is devoted to uplifting women who face difficult circumstances, help women overcome isolation, and build community among women to help them move forward.
Funds raised not only provide women in need with a day to feel recognized and acknowledged, but also support women in Volunteers of America Massachusetts’ programs for addiction recovery, mental health care, and veterans services. Community members are invited to donate in honor of the special women in their lives, or volunteer at the event!
Veterans Leadership Dinner
This annual event brings the community together to help veterans and their families get back on their feet. The event features an extensive silent auction, giveaways, live music entertainment, and of course, dinner. The Veterans Leadership Dinner also honors two unsung heroes for their work and dedication in the veteran community.
Supporters are invited to enjoy this celebratory evening while contributing to our programs that prevent veteran homelessness, provide mental health care and substance abuse counseling to veterans, and connect veterans with employment opportunities.
A special thanks to everyone who helped make our 2016 Veteran Leadership Dinner a success!
