Rebound
REBOUND ADOLESCENT AND FAMILY TREATMENT CENTER
Rebound's mission is to provide a safe treatment environment for adolescents who are experiencing problems in their lives due to alcohol and other drugs.
Rebound Adolescent and Family Treatment Center is a residential treatment program for adolescent boys who are exhibiting behavioral or emotional problems and recovering from substance abuse. Residents learn sober living skills, coping techniques and tools for preventing relapse. Program elements include family education, health awareness, vocational assistance, educational planning and support, physical and mental health interventions, and help resolving legal, interpersonal and family issues.
Treatment plans and aftercare options are created for each resident upon admission. These plans incorporate individual and family therapy, nursing and psychiatric services, educational supports and family-based continuing care both within the Rebound treatment facility and in the community upon discharge.
Referrals: Rebound accepts referrals from a Central Intake intermediary, the Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR) in Cambridge. Most referrals to Rebound involve significant family dysfunction and involvement with multiple state and provider agencies. IHR holds a contract with the Department of Public Health to provide screening and referrals to the state’s adolescent care system
Rebound is Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health
